Services to manufacturers and users of healthcare product
For market entry, we provide directive-compliant services required for the CE label for medical devices (93/42/EEC) and in vitro diagnostic medical devices (98/79/EC) as a notified body (No. 0537).

IECEx certification
For manufacturers of equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, we offer services required for the CE label in accordance with the ATEX directive (94/9/EC) as a notified body (No. 0537) and IECEx certification. In connection with the CE label, the manufacturer has the right to compile a declaration of conformity and attach a CE label in the product based on the EC type examination certificate and assessment of the manufacturer's quality system conducted by VTT Expert Services Ltd. In addition, we are authorised to accept and store technical documents of device class 2 non-electric devices. Certification according to the IECEx certification system includes the type approval of devices and qualification of manufacturing. The IECEx certificate is sufficient evidence of the devices' Ex protection in all countries participating in the system, and it guarantees market entry without additional testing
